In School for Scoundrels (2006), a young man named Roger is fed up with his constant bad luck and lack of confidence. Determined to win over the girl of his dreams, Amanda, he enrolls in a class called Building Confidence and Self-Esteem taught by Dr. P. Roger soon discovers that not only is he not alone in his quest for confidence, but his teacher has a hidden agenda: to win Amanda's heart himself.

As the class progresses, Roger and his fellow classmates are subjected to humiliating and challenging assignments designed to test their newfound confidence. Along the way, Roger develops a rivalry with his teacher, Dr. P, as they both try to outdo each other in winning Amanda's affection. The escalating competition drives Roger to push his limits and become a better version of himself.
