The main character is a veteran of the Afghanistan war, and the film has PTSD and its treatment with cannabis as an underlying theme. Shot entirely on Washington's Olympic Peninsula, the movie stars Julian Gavilanes and Russell Hodgkinson of Sy-Fy's Z-Nation.

College freshman Si-Ying gets a part-time job at a coffee shop. She falls for Ze Yu, a guy who always sits in the same spot at the shop. Meanwhile, A-Tuo, a college senior develops feelings towards Si-Ying, who only sees him as a friend.
