In the comedy film Delta Farce (2007), three bumbling small-town National Guardsmen find themselves mistakenly dropped into Mexico instead of Iraq. Completely unaware of their location, the trio believes they are on a mission to serve their country. However, their confusion leads them to accidentally liberate a small Mexican village from a group of corrupt Federales.

As the Guardsmen, played by Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, and DJ Qualls, navigate their way through the unfamiliar surroundings, they face one hilarious mishap after another. Despite their lack of combat skills, the trio manages to convince the villagers that they are formidable warriors, unintentionally becoming heroes in the process.
