In the 2006 movie Casino Royale, James Bond embarks on his first mission as a 00 agent. His task is to stop Le Chiffre, a banker for global terrorists, from winning a high-stakes poker game in Montenegro. Le Chiffre needs to recover his lost money to maintain his standing among the dangerous terrorist market.

M, the boss of MI6, assigns Bond to attend the poker game along with Vesper Lynd. Bond also receives assistance from Felix Leiter and Mathis. To maintain cover, Vesper poses as Bond's partner during the mission. As Bond enters the intense poker game, it becomes the most important and risky challenge of his career so far.
