Ljuset från Lund is a 1955 movie that follows a horse as it wanders from a town to the countryside, eventually leading us to Sten Stensson Steen, a bachelor studying law and philosophy. In the neighborhood where he lives, there is an experimental school called Fridhem, which has been causing a lot of trouble and fear among the local residents due to the unruly behavior of the schoolboys.
Things take a turn for the worse when the principal of Fridhem resigns, putting the school at risk of being shut down. Determined to prevent this from happening, Steen decides to step up and becomes a candidate for the vacant principal position. However, he soon discovers that the boys at Fridhem are anything but easy to handle. They welcome him with clever pranks and challenge his attempts to transform them into well-behaved angels.
