Welcome to Neo Yokio, the largest city in the world. It is a densely populated metropolis in North America known for its cultural and architectural innovation. The city is at the forefront of global fashion and economy. Kaz Kaan, the youngest member of a family of demon slayers called magistocrats who once saved the city, finds little solace in Neo Yokio's prestige. His demon-slaying is now just a side hustle organized by his aunt, as Kaz prefers shopping, playing land hockey, and healing his broken heart. Kaz is always accompanied by his loyal mecha-butler, Charles, and his inseparable friends Lexy and Gottlieb, as he navigates the complexities of life in Neo Yokio, trying to outdo his arch-rival, Arcangelo Corelli, the city's most eligible bachelor.

Things take a mysterious turn when Kaz becomes involved with ex-fashion blogger Helena St. Tessero, setting off a series of events that force him to question everything he knows about Neo Yokio's turbulent world.
